Electrical and Electronics Industries Benevolent Association - The Electronics Charity

POWERBALL UPDATE

“IT’S GROWING NICELY!”

The ‘jewel in the crown’
Table bookings for the Charity’s prime fundraiser powerBall are brisk, with attendance likely to be over 1,000. This comes as no great surprise to the many powerBall supporters as it is seen as the ‘jewel in the crown’ in the industry calendar. This year, the event takes place on Friday 13 November and as usual powerBall will be held in the best venue in town, The Great Room in London’s Grosvenor House.

Sponsorships
Sponsorship arrangements have been made with such companies as:
Bissell Homecare, Dimplex Heating, Heatrae Sadia, Legrand Electric, MK Electric and Schneider Electric and with other sponsorships to be signed, there is no doubt that powerBall 2009 promises to be yet another amazing event where companies can entertain their clients and colleagues to the very best London has to offer.

Entertainment
This year, it’s amazing Seventies entertainment. EEIBA has engaged the entire cast of the hit musical We Will Rock You and back by popular demand, are The Bogus Brothers.
A fantastic Abba tribute band, Abba The Concert, will also entertain you and again there is the extremely popular Apache Disco. As the sights and the sounds of the seventies are re-created, there will be fine dining too and as you would expect traditional fundraising.

Your support
So as to help more people in need, EEIBA is always keen to defray some of powerBall’s immense costs. For more information on taking sponsorship, offering a raffle prize, donating an item for the auction, booking a table, or providing support in whichever way you think best, please contact:

Head of Fundraising Operations Pat Sheldrake, on 020 8772 6960 or
