Timothy Lambert, Chief Executive of the electrical and electronics charity (EEIBA) was elected as the new Chairman of the Association of Charity Officers (ACO) at a recent Annual General Meeting.
“The ACO is a helpful and important membership organisation which provides an opportunity for charity people to meet and discuss issues relating to charities’ governance, welfare programmes and fundraising, with colleagues, in an informed and relaxed atmosphere. I acknowledge readily that ACO has had some internal problems recently but remains in good heart and spirit with plans to relocate to shared office space in London and to provide information, support and advice to people like me who are principle officers of charities. These are exciting times and with my colleagues on the newly elected Board, we look forward to working together with members so as to move ACO onto a new era.” Timothy Lambert said on his appointment.
Editor’s notes:
EEIBA is an occupational benevolent charity which provides welfare care programmes for people connected with the electrical and electronics industries.

disseminate information, encourage mutual assistance and foster the spirit of true service in the administration of charitable funds.
