Kent Golf Day - 11th June 2010

EEIBA supporters in Kent, and slightly further afield, met up again for their annual outing to Faversham Golf Club.

Despite heavy rain just before the first tee offs, the sky cleared and everyone completed their round in perfect golfing weather.

The overall winner for the prestigious Jack Carte Trophy was Steve Shannon (handicap 10) with an amazing 42 points on his card.

The Dave Elliott Shield was won by the Electrical Safety Council team with 95 points.
Bexhill Electrical team were the runners up with a creditable 89 points.

The longest drive was won by Steve Allum and nearest the pin prize went to Roger Mitchell.

“Faversham Golf Club is one of those gems in Kent and we are grateful to everyone for their support of this popular event in the industry’s calendar” said Timothy Lambert, Chief Executive.  “We raised just over £1,000 for the industry charity.”
