It is important that our Website is accessible by as wide an audience as is possible.
The Disability Act 2004 requires that services be made available to people with different access requirements.
- EEIBA concentrates on providing information in text format that can easily be rendered with speech software
- We have used text equivents for all content images
- We have kept menus and navigation simple
- We have kept the number of hyperlinks on each page down to the minimum and have made them descriptive
- Our content has text that can be resized to suit both the sight impaired user and those with high resolution monitors
- We have taken care to choose colour schemes that have good contrast and that do not cause problems for colour blind users
- For users with mobility issues we have Access keys for all main menus and main content areas
