Become an EEIBA Industry Senator and make the Difference

Many senior figures occupying prominent positions within our industry have already accepted our invitation to become EEIBA Industry Senators, because they want to give something back.

For 100 years, EEIBA has been the only charity helping people in the electrical, electronics industries and any connected or allied industries (including mechanical engineering) who have fallen on hard times through no fault of their own.

Our major aim is to give essential financial and practical assistance to anyone who is part of our industry family.

Last year, EEIBA helped almost 3,000 families in a whole range of ways, from filling in forms and dealing with correspondence to providing one-off grants and regular financial support.

The involvement and commitment of many more supporters is needed to continue this work so that even more deserving people can be given a brighter future, in short we need more industry seniors like yourself to become Industry Senators

How you can make a real contribution

When you accept Industry Senator status, your contribution will not only have an immediate effect but will go on helping others in the future.

By pledging an annual minimum donation of £120, just £10 per month, we will be able to reach more people in need. The more you can give the more help we can offer.

Your individual or company donation can be made by monthly standing order or, annually by cheque. If you are making your donation personally, provided you pay income and or capital gains tax on a sum that is at least equal to your donation, you can Gift Aid the donation.

Completion of a simple Gift Aid declaration means that if you make a £120 donation, EEIBA can reclaim tax at the standard rate increasing your donation of £120 to £154.

If your company is supporting our work, Gift Aid is not available. However, because the EEIBA is a registered charity, any sums your company pays to the EEIBA may be deducted in arriving at taxable profits, thus reducing your company's corporation tax charge.
