A new boiler for John

John Webster with his new boiler

John Webster lives in Norfolk and has worked for Eastern Electricity for over 25 years having spent many of those in the central warehouse in Norwich.

Some 7 years ago John lost his wife, and was given the opportunity to live with his daughter, but she has a growing family that needed more space, so it was decided to build onto the house and provide John with a Granddad flat.

When nearing completion, it was discovered that the central heating boiler that was going to be moved to the annexe, needed to be replaced. Now being very tight for money, John approached the EEIBA to ask if we could offer some financial help with part of the cost of the boiler. Funds were made available to enable the work to be completed.
