Cold Winter? – Not for Rhoda and Frank!

Rhoda and FrankRhoda and Frank Thompson live in Sutton on Sea having had many years service with Philips.

Prior to that, Frank served in the RAF.

Their central heating boiler developed a problem that meant they had to find £2,000 for a replacement.

Frank contacted EEIBA and was visited by the Regional Welfare Officer.

He looked into their employment history, made sure that they were receiving the correct State benefits and researched the Warm Front scheme.

He then wrote on their behalf to Philips, the RAF Benevolent Fund and other charities, so as to try to 'spread the load'.

Rhoda and Frank can now rest assured that following contributions from the RAF, Philips and EEIBA, they can look forward to a warm winter.
