Advice and support for Vera

Vera Griffin Vera Griifin is a widow living in Spilsby.

Her husband, Alan, having passed away following a lengthy illness, had worked for the East Midlands Electricity Board for over 30 years and as is so often the case when suddenly you are alone, Vera was in need of advice and support.

She approached EEIBA and the Regional Welfare Officer was able to help her deal with some of the many matters that had arisen following her sad loss, and in particular, arranged for EEIBA to make a grant to deal with one particularly high outstanding bill.

The Welfare Officer has kept in touch regularly to ensure that she is well and has no further financial problems.
