Vic Constable is a widower
living in Wisbech,
Cambridgeshire, having
worked for National Grid for
many years.
Word came through to EEIBA from a retired welfare officer at National Grid that Vic needed some financial assistance to convert his bathroom into a walk-inshower as he was having difficulties getting in and out of the bath.
He had been successful with an application for a Disabled Facilities Grant but there was a shortfall in the funds required to carry out the conversion.
EEIBA got to work and with help from National Grid, was able to provide the balance to complete the job.
