Legacy

Leaving something to EEIBA in your Will is an enduring way to support the charity and help us to continue our work in the future, legacies can also help to avoid or reduce tax on your estate.

Are you positive about your Will?

There are several ways in which you can leave gifts to both your loved ones and your favourite causes:

  • Residual gift: what is left from your estate after all other bequests, and after all costs have been deducted.
  • Pecuniary gift: a specific sum of money. Unlike a residuary bequest, inflation can reduce the value of a pecuniary gift.
  • A percentage of your estate: a gift of a percentage of the value of your estate, for example, a bequest of 10% of an estate valued at £40,000, would provide a gift of £4,000.

Be smarter and make sure you organise a Will, and, if you are able to remember the EEIBA in your Will, a little of you will live on through our work.

If you would like a free EEIBA legacy pack or would like to discuss any of the points raised, please contact us. Alternatively you can download our enquiry form (Requires Adobe Acrobat Reader).
