How could we follow the sensational powerBall 2007?

Well, we believe that by bringing you more legends to the Ball with a non-stop line-up of 60s pop acts featuring top-of-the-bill Gerry and the Pacemakers, you’ll be saying that, yet again, this was the best powerBall ever!

We begin with a real blast from the past, with The Upbeat Beatles, who have been performing to ecstatic audiences since they formed in 1997 and are now recognised as the premier Beatles tribute band.

Then Gerry and the Pacemakers – and what more needs to be said about the group famous for ‘How Do You Do It?’, ‘I Like It’ and the iconic anthem ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’.

Taking us through 60s Motown and then bringing us right up-to-date, we’ll present The Bogus Brothers, who have established themselves as one of the best and most entertaining party bands in Europe with a huge musical repertoire and wardrobe to match.

To complete the line-up, Ian Haskell returns with his Apache Disco – and who knows where that will take our guests? Ian has a knack of getting them to star unwittingly in their own pop video!

5-Star dinner and fun activities In the spectacular Grosvenor House Great Room, as you would expect, guests will enjoy a sumptuous meal in the most elegant surroundings and participate in our regular fundraising activities such as the ever-popular Tombola, Stand-Up Bingo, Raffle, Silent and Live Auctions. We offer Platinum, Gold and Standard Tables and demand is always greater than supply.

What to Wear?

Black Tie and Ballgown and, for the more adventurous, adding a 60s twist would be most welcome.
